Get Ready – Sermon Series: On the night before Jesus was crucified, He shared a meal with His disciples, and taught them to get ready for the journey ahead, to step forward as a band of disciples led by the Holy Spirit. In this series, we listen to Jesus’ words once more, learning how to walk as disciples in the whole of our lives.
This week: Defined by our Mistakes Love (John 13:18-38,) We make mistakes and our lives are impacted by the mistakes of others. In the context of moral mistakes and fatal failures, Jesus speaks of love – the kind of love that will be the defining mark of the disciples of Jesus. We will look at how we can learn from our mistakes and show a kind of love that engages with others.
